The XH2576-ADJ regulator is a monolithic integrated circuit that provides all active functions for a step-down switching regulator capable of driving 3A loads with excellent line and load regulation. There are fixed output voltages of 3.3V 5.0V 12V and ADJ adjustable output versions. The XH2576-ADJ provides a high-efficiency alternative to popular three-terminal linear regulators. It greatly reduces the size of the heat sink and in some cases does not require a heat sink. Other features include a specified output voltage tolerance of ±4% and an oscillator frequency of ±10% under specified input voltage and output load conditions. Includes external shutdown with a 50μ (typical) standby current output switch includes cycle-by-cycle current limiting, and thermal shutdown for full protection under fault conditions
