The device consists of two independent voltage comparators designed to operate from a single supply over a wide voltage range. Dual supply operation is also possible as long as the voltage difference between the two supplies is from 2 V to 36 V and V-cc is at least 1.5 V above the input common-mode voltage. Current consumption is independent of the supply voltage. The outputs can be connected to other open-collector outputs to achieve a wire-and relationship.
