    The XL2026-2 is a general-purpose distribution high-side MOSFET switch that requires optimized circuit protection. The XL2026-2 has limited internal current and a thermal shutdown function to protect equipment and load and reduce current consumption in failure mode. When a hot shutdown failure occurs, the output is locked until the failure load is removed. Unplugging the load or switching the enable input will reset the device output. Both devices use a soft-start circuit that minimizes inrush current in applications with high capacitive loads. The fault status output flag is turned off under overcurrent and hot shutdown conditions. Transient faults can be internally filtered.
