     The XD4538 is a dual, precision monostable multivibrator with separate trigger and reset controls. The device can be triggered and reset again, and the control input is an internal latch. Two trigger inputs are provided to allow a rise or fall edge trigger. Reset the input to a low level to prevent triggering during active precise control of the output The pulse width is achieved using a linear CMOS process, and the pulse width and accuracy are determined by the external devices Rx and Cx. The device does not allow the timing capacitor to discharge through the timing pin under power off conditions, so there is no need for an external protection resistor in series with the timing pin to provide input protection against electrostatic discharge on all pins.
