    The 74LS48 has an active hioh output for driving lamp buffers or cathodic light-emitting diodes. All circuits contain a direct blanking input. The display mode of the BCD input count greater than 9 is the only symbol that validates the input condition. The 74LS48 circuit includes automatic leading edge and/or trailing edge zero blanking control (R8I) and RBOh lamp testing (tT>), which can be performed at any time when the BI/RBO node is on high power. All types include overlay blanking inputs (BI), which can be used to control lamp intensity or suppress signal output through pulses. Input and output are fully compatible with TTL logical output.
