    The device is a monolithic, integrated, high-voltage, high-current four-channel driver designed to receive standard DTL or TTL logic levels, drive inductive loads (such as relays, solenoids, DC and stepper motors) and switching power transistors. To simplify use as two Bridges, each pair of channels is equipped with an enable input. A separate power input is provided for the logic, and the internal clamp diode allows operation at lower voltages. The device is suitable for switching applications with frequencies up to 5KHz. The XL293-20 SOP20 surface mount is equipped with 8 center pins connected together for heat dissipation.
